Standard of Conduct

  • We believe that we have a responsibility to aid students in their spiritual, moral, and intellectual development so that they will be the most profitable ministers for Christ. Consistent with this conviction, the School asks that administrators, faculty, staff, and the student body refrain from those practices which would result in wasting of time and talents or might be damaging to the reputation of the individual or the school.
  • The Bible emphasizes the care required to maintain the beauty of the inner person (1 Peter 3:3-4). In light of this counsel from the Scriptures, we observe that our conduct and appearance are not a matter of indifference or personal preference and should be guided by two spiritual attributes
  • Humility (Philippians 2:5-8): Humility involves serving others by yielding our rights, since our motive is to glorify Jesus Christ rather than drawing attention to ourselves. It seeks the welfare of others even if it restricts the exercise of one's own rights and freedoms.
  • Love (Galatians 5:22): Love is an attitude and an action that involves at least two dimensions. First, love considers what is best for another. Second, love acts sacrificially no matter how another may respond.

Personal Appearance

  • Student dress and grooming should be consistent with and contribute to a vital Christian witness. Dignity, good taste, and self respect are always appropriate.
  • The following guidelines will be helpful:
  • In every case, students shall be clean, modest, and not draw attention to the individual.
  • Personal hygiene and well-groomed natural colored hair is required. (Clean cut for men).
  • Jewelry and make up should not be applied.

Dress Code

  • Sisters must wear a blue collared dress blouse or shirt with a solid blue or black skirt during class time. A sweater may be worn over the blouse. Skirts should come below the knee and must not have side or front slits. Skirts are not to be silk, satin, lace or velvet.
  • Brothers are required to wear a blue collared shirt, dress pants (blue or black) and shoes during class time. Sneakers and jeans are not permitted.

Additional Policies

  • Student ages: males must be 18 years old and females 17 years old.
  • Students are not allowed to have cell phones during class time.
  • In order to allow students the opportunity to be focused on the Lord without distractions, student dating is not permitted while attending school.
  • Students are expected to be present at all class sessions. You must first obtain permission to have an excused absence.
  • Failure to live up to these guidelines will result in discipline, suspension, or dismissal. Those who do not abide by the regulations, or whose spirit is evidently unsympathetic toward the standards and ideals of the school, or who seem to be exerting a negative or harmful influence upon the school, may be asked to leave. If a student drops out or is expelled from school for any reason, tuition is not refundable.

We look forward to seeing you this summer! “…Forgetting the past, and pressing forward…”
Let God have His way in you & see what He has planned for you.
