The purpose of our school is to help people deepen their knowledge of God, His Word, and His plan for us

Daniel Boyko, SFG 2008 Testimony

Dear Reader,

My name is Daniel Boyko. I am writing from Nicholasville, Kentucky. I was a student of the 2008 Full Gospel Bible School in Versailles, Kentucky. I would like to tell a little about my experiences while attending school.

I hate to sound cliché, but, first off, the greatest impact attendance at school has made on my life is that I have learned to study the Word and learn to take from it what God wants to say. I have begun to look at the Word as the living Word of God and to realize that it really does have power to change lives. I know you may be thinking “of course, that’s basic knowledge”, but as soon as one begins to learn to implement the Word into one’s actions, words, mannerisms, and life, it begins to take on a new meaning and a greater importance. Since, I have realized the importance of not merely reading the Bible, but studying it and letting it bring fruit in my life. God considers every letter of every word equally important and true, and we are in no position to debase this emphasis.

One other aspect of the Bible School experience I would like to share is the closeness of friends. When we first gathered that Monday morning, everyone was nervous and shy. In the time span of two months, we grew to be a close-knit family. Often, in our travels, I would notice the students gathered together when we were supposed to be socializing with the local youth and promoting the Bible School. It was a refreshing sight to see everyone together and in unity. The first morning was a huge contrast when compared with the last day spent together. This was a day of separation. I remember the pictures, the hugs and the repeated words, “come see us”. Truly, it was a special experience.

I would like to finish off with a call to service. Take the opportunity; sacrifice the time to attend the Bible School. It is well worth your time and energy. May God bless you and may His grace shine upon you.
